Dear Bloomfield Yoga Community,

We are writing you today to tell you that we have made the very difficult decision to close Bloomfield Yoga. We love our little studio in the city and our devoted community of yogis, but we cannot imagine a scenario where in-person classes can safely happen again in that beautiful, but very small space before our lease is up, and because BFY has never been self-sufficient, continuing the studio just isn’t financially feasible.

Our decision not to re-open is based on the fact that being in a closed space with other people, especially people who are working out and breathing hard, is one of the highest risk scenarios for spreading Coronavirus. When we weigh this with the truth that we can serve our students by offering yoga online and possibly outdoors this summer, the risk of reopening our physical doors at this moment– even with the current suggested changes and precautions for yoga studios– is just not worth it to us. We are after all in the wellness business.

We will continue the SHPY/BFY virtual studio– even once SHPY reopens its physical doors– and we would love to keep practicing with you online and possibly in Dormont.

For those of you with current unlimited and class pass credits, you have the following three options:

1. You can donate the value of your remaining classes to the studio to help us with ongoing obligations and closing expenses.

2. You can convert the prorated dollar amount of your pass purchase and use that credit for our online On Demand Class Library offerings and/or our On Demand Stay At Home Three Day Yoga Retreat

3. You can transfer your remaining class credit to our sister studio, South Hills Power Yoga in Dormont, to be used in the future when SHPY reopen's its physical doors again.

Please reach out to us by July 15, 2020 by emailing info@bloomfieldyogapgh.comwith your preferred pass credit option. All pass credits become non-transferable and will be lost after July 15, 2020.

As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

We so appreciate your presence on this journey with us and we hope to continue practicing with you .

Our Very Best,

~Stacey Vespaziani & Jen Lee
